I
will meet with you for a consultation to assess the size and condition
of your space. Together, we will define your desires for the room's
function and
style. I may make
suggestions for items that would complement your space; I may make
suggestions for removing items to allow what you already have to
shine. I may even tell you you don't need me! If you decide redesign
is for you, we will schedule a fluff.
During
the fluff, your space will be cleared of all small pieces and
accessories to gain a “clean slate.” Your furniture will be suitably
rearranged and then other items will be returned to the room
with a fresh eye toward function and comfort. With your
permission,
of course, I may look at various other rooms in your house to find
items that
would complement the space. At the end of the fluff, you will have a
fresh, refocused, and welcoming new room where you will want to spend
time.

STAGING: MAXIMIZE YOUR HOME'S SELLING POTENTIAL!
If
you are preparing to sell your home, I will visit for a consultation to
ascertain what needs to be done to arrange, organize and "simplify"
your space so that it shows to its maximum potential. I will look at each room and fill out a room- specific assessment that will outline for you what needs to be done, including: addition or removal of items, organization, repainting, patching, what needs to be repaired or cleaned, and more.
It is advantageous to you as the seller
that prospective buyers see your space in a way that enables them to
envision their belongings there. A house that is
properly staged appears larger and more
spacious -- and that is what your buyer is looking for.
You want to maximize your home's selling potential, so this is time and money very well spent. After our consultation, if staging is for you, we will schedule a time to complete the project.
